Summary

This website uses no cookies and no advertising or tracking scripts. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which collects no personal data. The Akram plugin does not send any data about you or your site to us.

This website

whalewp.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It doesn’t use cookies or local storage, doesn’t fingerprint visitors and doesn’t build profiles.

Fonts and images are served from this domain. The only third-party script is Cloudflare’s analytics script.

The Akram plugin

The plugin runs on your own WordPress site. It does not phone home, does not collect usage statistics and needs no account.

Some optional features contact third-party services, but only when you turn them on and add your own keys: Mailchimp, Google reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile, Google Places, Instagram and a weather service. The optional AI writing assistant uses the AI provider you connect to WordPress itself; Akram sends nothing to an AI service on its own. The plugin’s readme lists each service with links to its terms and privacy policy.

Form submissions are stored in your WordPress database. IP addresses are anonymised.
